The Diary of a Suicide
The Diary of a Suicide is to be my first ever, full-length novel. In spring of 2012, I started posting it on Wattpad as an experimental side project while I was plotting other works. By spring of 2015, I'd fallen in love with the story and characters, and finally decided they deserved to be in a much better book than the one I had been writing for them. I decided to stop working on the original Wattpad draft so I could further develop the plot and polish it into a novel I could be proud of. And that is where it currently stands!
Here's the updated synopsis:
Carter Miller was an average teenager: barely passing through school, gliding through life, and dreading the years ahead. But when he discovers the diary of Stella Ashton—a decade-old murder case—his own troubles suddenly seem so trivial. Through her own words, he learns the truth of her death and the circumstances surrounding it, and uncovers one of the greatest hoaxes of Retrouver's recent history.
Because Stella Ashton was not murdered, she committed suicide.
As Carter tries to understand her decisions, he finds himself growing a bit too attached to their unconventional bond. But the more he retreats into Stella's world, the harder it gets to handle his own.
Bloody Merry is a webcomic I'm curently in the early stages of developing. And when I say early stages, I mean early stages, so I have no idea when it'll be ready for launch, but I'm super pumped!
Here's the synopsis:
Everyone knows the legend of Bloody Mary, but no one knows how it started, why it exists, or the fact that it is very much real. That is, until Meredith Mercer, a tragically undead teenager, finds herself forced into taking up the Mary mantle with no memory of what happened to get her there. With the help and understanding of her best friend, his boyfriend, and her also-undead cat, she's going hunting for answers. But can she fight the will to kill long enough to free herself?
*Keep in mind, these percentages are just my own estimate of how far I feel I am and not a solid, undebatable number. I can't guarantee accuracy, mostly because I have literally no idea how one goes about deciding that??
